Helichrysum italicum means ‘golden sun of Italy.’  It is native to the rocky, poor soils, wild temperature extremes, and punishing winds of the Italian Alps.  A handful of studies have found helichrysum to reduce inflammation and neutralize bacteria that play a role in acne.  Drew is fascinated that such a healing plant thrives in adversity.  A noble example!

Uses

Here are some of the uses for a balm-

  • Intensive moisture for dry skin on the hands, feet, elbows, knees, etc.
  • Tame and moisturize hair, especially curly hair. Combine a pea-sized amount of balm with rose water mix the two. Run the mixture through wet hair and voilà, beautiful frizz-free curls!
  • Facial moisturizer—apply a small amount to a clean face after a spray of rose water. Works best when your skin is slightly damp.
  • Nail and cuticle treatment. Beard care—Drew uses the balms for a radiant beard. Skin moisturizer for the entire body—works best fresh out of the shower when your skin is slightly wet.
  • Night mask—apply to your clean face before bed.

    Wonderful

    I used this on my hands and I was very happy with the result. Soft hands that lasted. I then used it in my curly hair as a replacement for the normal product I use and I fell in love. ❤️ My hair is extra curly and I'm saving on conditioner, as I don't need to use a much! Wow, who would have thought?! Drew's thought of it apparently! Very satisfied customer.
